Lee Yuen-Rapati is a designer who specialises in type design, illustration, and industrial design. He holds a Master’s degree in typeface design from the University of Reading, and a Bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary design from NSCAD University. Lee was inducted into the GPHG Academy in its inaugural year and remains an active member.

He is currently based in London, UK.

One Hour Watch

Lee started the One Hour Watch series in September 2014 to learn about watch design and to practice drawing techniques. The project involves creating a new original watch drawing every day in one hour or less. Most of the drawings are original designs, however the series occasionally focuses on caricatures or cartoons of iconic watches. Currently the series has reached over 2800 consecutive drawings, Lee updates his Instagram daily with new drawings.
